The redevelopment of Eric’s pond at Sivyers Lake was completed during the closure of the lake in April & May. The new layout incorporates twenty plus swims that have been designed to reduce the amount of maintenance on them in coming seasons.
The pond and the main lake have had a major re-stocking of Carp F1 and Bream.
The club car park has been extended to allow an additional 10-12 cars and the car park surface has been upgraded.
The lock configuration at Sheepwalk has been modified in an attempt to reduce the problems caused by vandals and careless members that led to members being locked in at the lake.
Salt dip baths have been introduced at Sivyers Lake to aid the treatment of fish that have developed sores during spawning. There are a total of ten dips located on both the main lake and Eric’s pond.
